Video ads you can test, with claims you can stand behind

Pick one of 8 ad formats, describe your offer and approve a script that only claims what you told it. On vertical ads, try three other openings without rebuilding the video.

How it works

Free account. You approve the script before any picture is drawn.

For Marketers, agencies, shops and app makers

A square Instagram ad for a neighbourhood bakery, drawn by hand.

A real StrokeTale video, drawn live in your browser by the engine that renders the MP4. Press play to watch it from the start.

What you get

Made for this kind of video.

  • Eight ad formats

Problem → Solution, Product showcase, Show your app, Listicle (3 reasons), Before / After, Myth vs Fact, Story (testimonial style), Offer / Launch.

  • Honest by default

Prices, results and deadlines appear only if you give them. Story ads are told as fiction, never as real reviews.

  • Openings to test

Three alternative first scenes for any 9:16 ad, free to preview.

  • Every placement

9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 1:1 for feeds, 16:9 for YouTube, with your logo and accent colour from the Brand kit.

Good to know

  • You can't upload product photos yet; pictures are made for each video.

How it works

Three steps. No timeline.

Real screens from the app. Nothing is drawn, and nothing is paid, until you approve the script.

  1. The Topic step in StrokeTale: a topic typed in, the formats, the shape and the length.

    Tell us what to make

Type a topic, paste your notes or a script, and pick the kind of video. Every setting can change later.

  2. Approve the script, free

Read every scene and change it in plain words. Nothing is drawn, and nothing is paid, until you say yes.

  3. The StrokeTale editor: the drawn scene, the Director chat for changes in plain words, and the scene timeline.

    Watch it come to life

Pictures, voice, captions and music arrive scene by scene. Change any scene by chatting, then download your MP4.

You stay in control

Nothing happens without your say.

You read the script before anything is drawn, change one scene by asking, and step back with Undo. Anything that uses credits shows its price first.

  • Approve the script first

Edit any line, or ask for a new version. Scripts and revisions are free; pictures wait for your yes.

  • Change a scene by chatting

Say what you want in plain words. Only that scene is redrawn, and scene edits are free.

  • Undo anything

Every change can be undone, and your project saves itself as you go. Exports show their price before you confirm.

More to make

You might also make.

  • A square product explainer for an AI assistant that sorts your inbox.

    Product explainers

The problem, what your product does, the result, in 30 to 60 seconds.

    See how
  • A hand draws a baker with a bowl of dough under the title Why does bread rise?

    Whiteboard explainers

A hand draws your idea, scene by scene, while the voice explains it.

    See how
  • A stick figure holds up a coin under the title 20% savings, with word-by-word captions.

    Stickman videos

Stick figures act your idea out, timed to the voice, with no pictures to pay for.

Questions

Straight answers.

Can the ad be in my own voice?

Yes. Choose My voice at the voice step and record or upload each scene; captions and drawing follow your words. Cloning your voice from a typed script (verified as you, private, labelled as AI) is coming soon.

Can the client approve before we spend anything?

Yes. The script is free to write and revise. Pictures are drawn only after it is approved.

Who is responsible for ad claims?

You are: you approve every script. StrokeTale helps by keeping to the figures you give and flagging any it did not get from you.

How much control do I have?

All of it. You approve the script before anything is drawn, choose the look, hand, voice and music, and can change any scene, line or setting afterwards.

Can I edit after the video is made?

Yes. Ask the Director in plain words, or edit the words, pictures, figures, charts, captions and timing yourself. Only what you change is redone, and scene edits are free.

Who owns the videos I make?

You keep all rights in what you put in, and we give you all the rights we have in your videos, so you can publish them, including commercially, within our terms. Some countries don't protect AI-made material by copyright.
