  • Freescripts, revisions, pictures, previews, voice samples, AI narration and scene edits.
  • 24 new pictures a dayon a free account, more on paid plans. The icon, stickman and chart looks use none.
  • FreeSRT and VTT subtitle downloads, and thumbnail options.
  • Price firstTranslation, repainting pictures in a new look, a new thumbnail picture and podcast voices show their price before you confirm.
  • Never twiceEditing one scene never charges a whole new video.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I pay before I see the script?

No. Scripts and revisions are free. Pictures are drawn only after you approve the script, and credits are used when you export, translate or repaint, always with the price shown first.

How do credits work?

One credit is one minute of exported video, so a 45-second video uses about 0.8. A free account gets 3 credits every month. Drafts, previews, AI narration and scene edits do not use credits. Pictures don't use credits either; each plan includes a number of new pictures per day (the free plan: 24), and the icon, stickman and chart looks don't use pictures at all. Translating, repainting pictures in a new look and podcast voices show their price before you confirm, and credits for anything that fails on our side come back automatically. Monthly credits reset each month and do not roll over.

Can I buy more credits or a plan?

Not yet: paid plans and credit packs open soon. Until then every account works on the free monthly credits. If you need more for a project now, write to support@stroketale.com. Credits you buy will not expire, and within 14 days of buying a pack you can get your money back for any of its credits you have not used.

Can I edit one scene without starting over?

Yes. Ask the Director to change a scene in plain words. Only that scene is rewritten and redrawn, and edits are free.

Will the MP4 look like the preview?

Yes. The preview in your browser and the exported MP4 are drawn by the same engine from the same document.

Does StrokeTale make up facts?

It is built not to. The script review flags figures and rules your topic or pasted source did not give, and for organisation policies it asks for your text instead of guessing. Ad scripts only use the claims you give. You approve every script.

Which languages can I use?

You can write and narrate a new video in English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, and translate a finished video into 30 languages (4 of them in beta).

Can I use my own music?

Yes. Upload a track up to 30 MB and 6 minutes after confirming you have the rights, or use one of our 4 starter tracks.

Can I upload my own logo, images or voice?

Your logo, yes: add it with your accent colour to the Brand kit in My Library and it goes on every new video. Your voice, yes: choose My voice and record or upload the narration scene by scene. Using your own photos is coming soon; they will stay private and only be used in your videos. A verified clone of your voice is coming after that.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Yes. You can publish your videos, including in ads and paid courses, within our terms. Videos are AI-made, and our AI disclosure page explains how to label them where a platform asks.

Are AI presenters available?

Not yet. Drawn and painted presenters, and an avatar of yourself (verified as you), are coming soon. They will always be labelled as AI.
